What is Mitzvah Day?

Mitzvah Day is a day of social action.  Cape Cod Synagogue members take part in hands-on projects to support charities, build stronger communities, reduce hardship and poverty, help our environment and  bring a little joy into the world.

It is a way for all of us to make our mark on our community. Mitzvah Day is based on the Jewish values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedek (righteousness) and gemilut chassadim (acts of loving-kindness).

Who can participate?

Activities are planned for Cape Cod Synagogue members aged 3-99! Families can participate in the same activity if they wish to. Volunteers will sign up for activities on this web site once the projects have been finalized.

Mitzvah Day is a great way to make memories,
meet new friends and feel good about helping others!
Thank you for helping to make the 2022 Mitzvah Day a success!
