Passover 101 Workshop on March 11, 2018

The Passover Seder is a wonderful opportunity for a young family to begin creating its own holiday traditions and memories. It can be a gradual process over time, personalized to meet individual tastes and needs, often modified through trial and error. It’s a unique opportunity to include the entire family and create a feeling of excitement and anticipation every year. Below are only a few of the many resources available. Good luck and have fun!

Planning a Seder:,

Choosing a Haggadah: Make sure to request the emailed “Passover Prep Guide”. Reform Union’s Haggadah for ages 2-3 and another for ages 4-5. Includes creative songs set to familiar melodies. – a great site for DIY haggadahs. Everything is provided – templates, illustrations, a how-to video, opportunity to upload personal text and pics. Free (donations appreciated) – “The Vibe of the Tribe” – Everything Jewish in the Boston area from recipes, events, timely information, traditional and contemporary observance, etc. Great site!

Behrman House Publishers of educational books and software for Jewish schools, individuals and families. Offers a wide range of haggadahs geared towards diverse users.  Can be ordered from publisher or Amazon
